If you're ready to create lesson plans for Keyboard Games A then this study group is for you! In our three sessions together, we will review the lesson plan outline and complete plans for all of the keyboard pieces in Book A. With access to a completed outline (including away from and at the keyboard activities), participants will be guided to create their own plans by:
Adding movement ideas for songs and chants
Sequencing creative activities
Brainstorming creative activities for keyboard pieces
Sequencing important skills such as resting tone, macrobeat movement, microbeat movement, and watch please
Wednesday, 11:30-1:00pm eastern, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29
You must own the Keyboard Games Teacher's Guide to participate in this study group. You can purchase the digital copy from musicmovesforpiano.com.
Study groups are interactive in nature and attendance is mandatory. If you need to miss a meeting (totally understand that things come up), you'll be requested to send me an email to let me know. That being said, we are bound to have great discussions that you might want to revisit so the recordings will be provided.
While this study group may discuss specific activities from the book, the focus is on creating lesson plans and not how to teach Keyboard Games. If you are looking to teach Keyboard Games and not sure where to begin, the Keyboard Games Comprehensive Course is for you!
